Dot reads calendars and reminders from the local macOS store. Dot does not upload your calendar database to a Dot server. Your Mac may synchronize calendar and reminder data with providers such as iCloud, Google or Microsoft under your account settings.
Your license key is stored in macOS Keychain. Dot contacts Lemon Squeezy to activate, validate and deactivate the license. The app also checks for software updates. Location autocomplete uses Apple MapKit when you search for a place.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. When you purchase Dot, they collect your payment information and email address to process the transaction and send receipts. We do not store your payment details.
We use Simple Analytics on this website to understand how people find and use it. It's privacy-first—no cookies, no personal data collection, no tracking across sites. We track page views and button clicks (downloads, purchases) to improve the site.
